2026 Residencies are for 2 or 4 weeks between mid-May and mid-July. Arrival dates are Sunday afternoon, and departure dates are Saturday morning. Included in the residency is housing, 3 meals a day, and studio space.
Open to artists working in any medium. Preference is given to artists whose work engages with ecology, science, and nature in unique and collaborative ways. Writers are encouraged to apply for the Iowa Lakeside Lab Writers-in-Residence program
Accepted artists are responsible for their own travel to the Lab and bringing their own tools and supplies.
